Derelict - Achimi Bridge

Part of my final project at Vancouver Film School. Derelict follows an exploration ship, the Achimi, and its crew, as they find the remnants of an alien civilization, and awaken the creature that destroyed them.

This shot shows the bridge of the Achimi. I wanted it to look very functional and industrial, and a space that could realistically be lived in by a crew of explorers.

Final image, with photo filters, more contrast, and generally bringing more focus to the center console.

The room layout, done in Maya.

Special effects pass, including smoke in the vents and a stronger bloom on the lights.
